The 5-Day Healing Journey: What to Expect at the Trauma-Informed Wellness Intensive
You’ve taken the first step: recognising that you’re ready for deeper transformation. Now let’s map out what your five days at Maui Healing Retreat will look like and how each phase supports your healing, nervous-system regulation and emotional release.
Day 1: Orientation & Clarity Coaching
– Session: 1.5 hrs
– Purpose: establish your unique starting point, uncover what’s ready to shift, and set intentional, personalised goals for your journey.
– Why this matters: Clarifying your internal landscape helps align your system for what’s next.
Day 2: Energy Balancing + Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy
– Energy Balancing (1.5 hrs): gentler practices designed to help you sense and restore right flow, subtle fields, and inner harmony.
– Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy (1.5 hrs): This is where mind-body healing gets specific—techniques focused on how emotions and trauma may be held in the body and how to safely release them. – You begin to unburden your system in a safe, supported way.
Day 3: Zen Shiatsu + Mindfulness Meditation
– Zen Shiatsu (1.5 hrs): A deeply restorative bodywork session that supports nervous‐system regulation through traditional Japanese bodywork techniques.
– Mindfulness Meditation (1.5 hrs): Deepen into presence. Meditation supports the parasympathetic “rest-and-digest” state and helps build sustainable resilience.
– Together, they anchor your nervous system in a state of ease, making release possible.
Day 4: Soul Spirit Adventure (3 hrs) + Luminous Breathwork (1.5 hrs)
– Soul Spirit Adventure: A 3-hour immersive experience—outside the treatment room—where you channel nature, play, movement, ceremony and exploration to access deeper parts of your self.
– Luminous Breathwork (1.5 hrs): Breathwork is a powerful tool for nervous-system regulation and emotional release. Studies show breathwork improves mood, lowers anxiety, and supports parasympathetic activation. News-Medical+1
– This day is expansive: you’ll explore, feel, shift—and integrate.
Day 5: Integration or Sensual Healing* (1.5 hrs)
– Final session: You’ll be offered either an Integration session (where you pull together insights, anchor them for your life beyond Maui) or a Sensual Healing session (body-mind practices to honour pleasure, embodiment, self-care).
– Purpose: You leave not only renewed, but with tools, grounded in your system, and ready for next steps.
