Zen Shiatsu is a comprehensive, holistic therapy that uses the meridian system of acupuncture without the need for needles. This work is done over clothes, without oil, using stretching and compression techniques with palms, thumbs, elbows, and knees when appropriate. Each session can vary from gentle and nourishing to strong and clarifying. Both of these aspects are often incorporated into one session as Zen Shiatsu works on the simple principle of balancing the kyo or “hollow” meridians through tonifying and the jytsu or “full” meridians through sedating and purging. Each session is an opportunity to connect directly to the harmonious flow of energy in your heart and in the heart of everything.

Watsu® is a gentle form of aquatic bodywork therapy performed in warm water (96 degrees same temp as outside skin) combining elements of massage, joint mobilization, muscle stretching, and unique water movement. The deeply relaxing effects of warm water and nurturing support, combine with Watsu® movements, stretches, massage, and meridian point work, create therapeutic benefits and deep healing on all levels (physical, emotional, spiritual, & mental). Unlike Physiotherapy in the water, the Aquatic Therapist supports the receiver’s head and neck so that they can completely relax, letting go of physical restraints and the mental impediment of “mind chatter”.

Explore an ocean portal in the pristine La Perouse Bay — Maui’s newest land formation birthed by Madam Pele, Creator Goddess of the Hawaiian Islands.
